The EnableTRANS ‘SQL To Flat Files’ package is intended to generate and deliver Master Data files to 3rd-party applications reliant on frequently updated ERP data.

At implementation, you will create a group of SQL Select Adapters to be executed sequentially, where a Flat CSV or TSV file will be created from the results and sort order of each query. Files can be saved to a Local File System Endpoint or uploaded to FTP, FTP/S or SFTP* end-points.  (* EnableTRANS CE only supports password-authenticated SFTP Endpoints. Public-Private Key and Server Fingerprint authentication requires a ‘Pro’ edition.)

Options exist for Overwrite handling and optional generation of matching MD5 files.

EnableTRANS provides for full logging of these Master Data extractions and delivery with optional email notification for errors.

Execution can be triggered via a shortcut, or run as a scheduled Windows Service run on; Workdays only, between certain hours, or on an explicit day(s) and times. 

SQL Select Adapters: While the ‘SQL To Flat Files’ package comes with a large library of pre-built SQL Select adapters for most Sage 300 AP, AR, IC, OE & PO master tables, any SQL EndPoint and Adaptor can be created. 

This can be considered the ‘big brother’ of the ‘SQL to Flat Files‘ package. By adding transformation and templating steps, the ‘SQL To Flat Files with Decorator and Template‘ package provides the opportunity to reduce the complexity of the initial queries via later ‘Decoration’ of the results from alternate sources & tables.

The package includes a default Decorator with examples of validation and decoration from alternate data sources while allowing templating to a single resulting file. 

All group configuration, service execution and scheduling features offered in the above ‘SQL To Flat Files’ exist in this advanced package. 

Professional Services: This package is a bit more advanced to respond to the potential frustration and challenges dealing with complex SQL queries while providing a growth path from the basic ‘SQL To Flat Files’ package.  It is reasonable to expect a limited Professional Services effort to achieve any customization in these additional steps.

Many large companies use industrial mobile computers to collect and count Physical Inventory but may still require the support of a Count Sheet. Additionally, there are several other situations that may be better served with a Count or Recount Sheet in spreadsheet format, such as;

• clients with many smaller locations where a mobile computer is not economical
• collection of move-in & move-out Tradeshow inventories
• counts at client sites who demand VMI (Vendor Managed Inventory)

In many cases, deployment of a Count Sheet via spreadsheet will still allow for the mobile collection of data on an iPad or similar Windows mobile device.

The Recount Sheet provides enhanced information on variances, with additional sorting and filtering options over and above the traditional desktop UI or manual report. 

OnBoard & Import Count Spreadsheet: Clients may further automate by using EnableTRANS Pro packages to OnBoard and Import Physical Inventory Counts from the populated spreadsheet. This managed count process provides the best balance between low cost and high automation.

Extraction of Location Details provides a core element of many of our custom projects related to Product Movement, Transaction History and Serial/Lot Stock Aging. We’ve partitioned off this base extraction package to provide your organization with quick spreadsheet access to key Inventory data.

Providing Sage 300 IC Location Details to team leads with specific location responsibilities quickly gets key data in the hands of those making decisions. Whether it’s to support reordering, maximize fulfillment, or make corrective inventory adjustments, data that is searchable and filterable, without the confines of an ERP login and/or a static report, is highly beneficial.

Implementation options exist to run in bulk for all locations and open the extracted spreadsheet immediately, or, email location-specific data to the associated Location contact.

Included: Declarative Data Adapters, Decorators and a Spreadsheet Template Factory allow for significant advancement and customization.

Meeting fulfillment service level demands for high-value customers and providing inventory visibility to sales reps are key profitability drivers for those organizations with capitalized inventory, make-to-order production, and/or regional fulfillment locations.

Enablecore provides a pre-built OE Order Action spreadsheet extraction for Sage 300 clients to answer the following key questions:

• Total on-order detail line, unit, base qty and $ for each clients
• High value Orders with minimal pick effort
• High value Orders with full shipment availability
• Locations with available stock to fulfill where Stockout exist
• PO Qty and ETA for stock-outs
• Weave in a Customer ‘Priority’ Optional Field to sort and suggest Order fulfillment

Partition by: The equivalent EnableTRANS Pro package provides for scheduled and automated emailing of these Order Action spreadsheets by Ship From Location, Salesrep and Customer/Ship-To.

Many core and 3-party applications require the presence of valid emails and invalid addresses can limit campaign effectiveness and cause a significant manual effort where customers do not receive transaction notifications.

This EnableTRANS CE Package will crawl all email address values for a curated list of email address fields and report on those not ‘valid’. While the pre-built package is populated for Sage 300 fields, it can be pointed at any SQL Endpoint and email address field target.

A report is provided both as a log and extracted as a spreadsheet for subsequent manual correction.

A ‘mounting’ is not provided for installation and execution as a Windows Service as ad-hoc execution is expected.

Transactional Emails: Clients who use any of the EnableTRANS Pro OE-related Transactional Email packages regularly use this validation utility.
