Developed with the Sage 300 SDK, our ‘Nexus Host Interfaces‘ are mature add-ons that allow for managed Import and Export for the majority of Sage 300 operational (IC/PO/OE) transactions. Import and Export workflow profiles leverage the EnableTRANS application automation framework to Import Transactions, Syndicate & Transfer Master Data, Extract to Spreadsheet, and deliver Transactional Emails.
Enablecore is a long-standing Sage 300 ‘Development Partner Program’ member and continues to offer senior 3rd-party development to worldwide Sage 300 clients as a core practice, specifically focusing on extending integration to the IC/OE/PO operational modules.
All Sage 300 Workflows within the Nexus Host Interfaces are powered by EnableTRANS, and are highly integrated, declarative, and customizable workflows that execute externally to Sage 300. External execution provides for automation via Windows Services, minimizes impacts on system resources and exposes the full .NET development stack for use with Sage 300.
While EnableTRANS is available to accommodate a wide array of custom projects, it also offers many mature, prebuilt workflow packages that can save your organization as much as 90% of the required project and development effort. Prebuilt packages leverage EnableTRANS to offer extended functionality beyond the typical project scope and minimize the testing and bug fixes normally associated with custom efforts.
Whether providing lookup data for external manufacturing, e-commerce, marketplace, catalog or remote merchandising solutions, EnableTRANS provides prebuilt packages to extract SQL data as a group of files during the same scheduled service execution. Both of the following Packages can save the extracted files to the local file system or transport to FTP/SFTP. Full logging and error-triggered email logs are included.
EnableTRANS CE offers a free ‘SQL to Flat File‘ package to generate CSV/TSV/XML and ‘Flat’ XLSX files. SFTP support is limited to password-authenticated SFTP sites. Sage 300 clients can take advantage of a large library of prebuilt SQL queries.

EnableTRANS includes support for reading and writing XLSX files in the Open Office format. Extracting XLSX files with flat record structures is included in the above ‘SQL to Flat Files‘ EnableTRANS CE package, while extended EnableTRANS Pro ‘Extract’ packages are available to provide targeted, independent solutions.
The following prebuilt packages can be extracted to the Windows File System, or optionally emailed to a static or dynamic email address.
EnableTRANS provides robust transactional email packages for OE Orders, Shipments & Invoices.
All Email workflows can run from the Host Interface Export panels in the Host Interfaces, a Nexus Action button in the Nexus QBrowser, or typically as a scheduled Windows Service.
Email Package Features
An increasing number of projects are leveraging both Nexus & EnableTRANS capabilities to automate file-based transaction exchanges between systems and ‘Data Partners‘ such as Manufacturing, 3PL Partners, Drop Ship Vendors, and EDI.
While EnableTRANS is not a traditional EDI translator solution, as it does not currently offer EDIFACT or ANSI.X12 translation, it is being used to exchange other XML, CSV & XLSX transactional data exchanges between ‘Trading Partners’. Its mature settings, service-based execution, and operator-friendly UI allow Enablecore to weave non-traditional EDI into your operations allowing a high-degree of curation and correction by users.
Onboarding describes the retrieval of raw transaction files from a network folder, encrypted SQL, FTP, or SFTP endpoints.
Once retrieved, onboarded raw files are archived locally, unbundled and validated against a selected series of dynamic lookups and expressions. EnableTRANS onboards transactions to the Nexus Transaction Queue (QBrowser) and reports on selected Errors, if present.
If the unbundled transactions pass validation, the workflow can optionally chain to the automated Import.
Imported Transactions are always recorded in the Nexus Log Browser.
